In case you never got there your mushroom is a Hygrocybe, which are commonly known Waxcaps. Hygrocybe acutoconica looks likely but it is very hard to get a species specific identification on Hygrocybes without the use of a microscope.

I haven’t seen much Torchwood, honestly, though I’m sure SOMEONE’S written about it at some point. Believe it or not, I haven’t yet watched Torchwood. I need to get on that, STAT.
