This mudskipper spent a lot of time submerging itself and re-emerging to spit mud onto the bank, a seemingly futile task as the tide would come in and cover everything within two hours.
There are 17 genera and 70 species in the mullet (Mugilidae) family, so I won’t even try to identify these fish. The Ecology Asia site suggests that most mullet are in the genera Liza and Mugil.
