More photos from the Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park!
Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park is a lovely place to visit, with its large grounds, sense of quiet, and the opportunity to mingle with some of its native and farmyard/domestic animal collections.
For some years the property had been in danger of being swallowed up by a Rockla sand quarry project, but in December 2015 the wildlife park won its case and is now expected to remain in existence for a good while.
Some changes have taken place — the parrot tours have been stopped due to a lack of rangers comfortable with handling the birds (some of which are quite aggressive, having been rescued from abusive situations) and the quoll has died of cancer. There are now two wombats, Ally and Hippo.
So here are some of the photos from the latest trip.
